Cookie Policy

This cookie policy explains how EliteDulce uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website and use the platform, which types of cookies we use, what they are used for, and how you can give, change or withdraw your consent.

This is a translation for convenience. The Danish version is the legally binding one.

This cookie policy is part of and must be read together with EliteDulce's privacy policy. Where the cookie policy describes which cookies we use, the privacy policy describes in more detail how we process the personal data that cookies may collect.

EliteDulce is operated by EliteTreat ApS, CVR no. 46250559, Enghavevej 182, 3. tv., 2450 Copenhagen SV. In this cookie policy, EliteTreat ApS is referred to as “EliteDulce”, “we”, “us” or “our”.

1. What are cookies?

A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your computer, tablet or mobile phone when you visit the website. Among other things, the cookie makes it possible to recognise your device, remember your choices and settings, keep you logged in, complete payments securely, measure traffic and improve your experience.

In addition to ordinary cookies, we may use similar technologies, for example pixels, web beacons, local storage and session storage. In this policy, we use “cookies” as a collective term for cookies and these similar technologies.

Cookies can be first-party cookies, set by EliteDulce, or third-party cookies, set by our suppliers, for example payment and analytics tools. Cookies can also be session cookies, which are deleted when you close the browser, or persistent cookies, which remain on your device for a certain period or until you delete them yourself.

2. Which types of cookies do we use?

We divide cookies into three categories according to their purpose:

  • Necessary cookies are strictly necessary for the website and platform to function, including login, security, session management and payment. These do not require consent, because they are a prerequisite for providing the functions you yourself request.
  • Statistics cookies help us understand how the website is used, so we can improve content and features. These are only placed with your prior consent.
  • Marketing cookies are used to measure the effectiveness of advertisements and to display more relevant advertisements. These are only placed with your prior consent.

In the cookie overview below, you will find the specific cookies in each category.

3. Consent to cookies

Necessary cookies are placed automatically, because they are a prerequisite for you to use the functions you yourself have requested, including logging in, staying logged in on a device you have marked as trusted, maintaining security and completing payments. These cookies do not require your consent.

We do not use statistics or marketing cookies until you have given your prior consent. When such cookies are activated, this happens via a consent solution where – before cookies are set – you can freely accept or reject each category individually. It is just as easy to reject as to accept, and we do not use pre-ticked boxes.

Your consent is voluntary and specific to each individual category. You can withdraw a given consent at any time, see the section “How to change or delete cookies”. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Until you have given consent, we only use necessary cookies.

4. Cookie overview

5. Third-party cookies and data processors

Certain cookies are set by third parties that provide services on our website. These third parties process information in accordance with their own terms and privacy policies, which we encourage you to read:

Some of these third parties, including Google and Stripe, may process information outside the EU/EEA, for example in the USA. Such transfers take place on a valid transfer basis, for example the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) or an adequacy decision, including the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified. You can obtain further information about the transfer basis and a copy of the relevant safeguards by contacting us. Read more in our privacy policy.

6. How to change or delete cookies

You can withdraw your consent to statistics or marketing cookies at any time. Consent is obtained via our consent solution before such cookies are set, and can be withdrawn in the same place, just as easily as it was given.

Regardless of consent, you can always delete existing cookies and set your browser to block or warn about cookies. The procedure depends on your browser:

Please note that if you block or delete necessary cookies, parts of the website or platform may stop functioning correctly, including login, security and payment.

7. Retention periods

Cookies are stored for the period stated in the cookie overview above, or until you delete them. Session cookies are deleted when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain on your device for the specified period unless you delete them earlier.

Information collected via statistics and marketing cookies is stored by the relevant providers in accordance with their retention periods. You can read more about our processing and storage of personal data in our privacy policy.

8. Changes to the cookie policy

We may update this cookie policy if we change the cookies we use, or if changes in legislation, technology or our services make it necessary.

The cookie policy in force at any given time is available on EliteDulce. In the event of material changes that require renewed consent, we will obtain your consent anew.
