What is a Boost and how does it work?

A Boost puts your profile at the front of the deck for people nearby for a while, so more people see you. A regular Boost lasts 30 minutes.

Types of Boost

• Boost: starts right away and lasts 30 minutes.

• Super Boost: lasts longer than a regular Boost. The app shows how long.

• Primetime Boost: runs during Primetime, Thursday to Sunday from 7 to 10 pm. You can schedule it for the next Primetime.

How to start a Boost

1. Tap the Boost button at the top of Swipe.

2. Choose the type and tap Start now or Schedule for next Primetime.

You are notified when your Boost starts and ends, and you can see how many extra views and likes it brought.

A Boost does not change who can see you: filters still apply both ways. You can buy Boosts in the app, and some challenges give a Boost as a reward.
