What are Group Hangouts?

Group Hangouts are for meeting several people at once. You create a group with your friends, and together you meet other groups nearby.

How to create a group

1. Go to Explore and choose Group Hangouts.

2. Tap Create group, give it a name and choose what you like doing together.

3. Add friends from your matches and Double Date friends, or share an invite link. Invites expire after 7 days.

Your group becomes visible to others once it has enough members. The app shows how many it needs.

Matches and plans

• You see groups in your city and can pick by activity. One like from each group makes a match and a shared chat for all members.

• In the chat you can use the Date planner: suggest a place and time, and vote on the plan.

• If you are not in a group yourself, you can like a group nearby. If the group likes you back, it is a match.

• Want a break? Turn off Visible to others.

You are in one group at a time and can always leave it. Group Hangouts are only in the app and are rolling out gradually.
