Why did a match disappear?

When a match disappears from your list, it is almost always because the other person is no longer available to you. To protect everyone’s privacy, we do not say what happened.

The most common reasons

• They unmatched you.

• They blocked or reported you.

• They deleted their account. All their matches and conversations close at once, even if the account is restored later.

• The profile was removed for breaking our house rules.

• Double Date: when a friend is removed from a duo, that duo’s shared matches and chats are deleted.

What does not remove a match

• The other person pausing their account. You can still message each other.

• Rewind. A swipe that has already become a match cannot be undone.
