Can I message someone before we match?

Yes. With a Swipe Note you send a short message together with your like. A like with a message is always shown to the person, even if they do not have a subscription.

How to send a Swipe Note

1. Tap a profile card to see the whole profile.

2. Tap Send a Swipe Note, or like a specific photo or answer on the profile.

3. Write your message (up to 300 characters) or pick one of the suggestions, and send your like.

First Impression: be seen first

Choose Send as Priority and your like appears at the top of their Likes. This uses a First Impression. EliteDulce Platinum gives you First Impressions every week, and you can also buy them as a pack.

Good to know

• If they like you back, your message becomes the first one in your conversation.

• A Swipe Note is free as standard. If messages before a match require a subscription for a period, the app tells you before you send.

• Messages about payment or gifts in exchange for company are blocked.
