How does Speed Date (video) work?
Speed Date is short video or audio dates in rounds. Register in advance, and if you both say yes after a round, it is a match.
Updated 5 November 2026
Speed Date is an event where you meet several new people one after another in short video or audio dates. It is for photo-verified members only.
How to register
Go to Explore → Events and find a Speed Date.
Tap Register. You can see the format (audio, video or both), how long the rounds are and how many people have signed up.
When it starts, keep the app open in the lobby. You meet someone new in every round.
During a round
Your camera starts off, and nothing is recorded.
Want more time? You can extend the round if you both say yes.
After the round, you say whether you would like to see them again. The other person is only told if you both say yes.
If something feels wrong, you can report the person, and the round ends.
When the event is over, you find your matches in Chats. Speed Date is only in the app and is rolling out gradually.
