How do I share my date with a friend (Date check-in)?

There are two tools. You find them under the shield in the conversation with your match and in the Safety Center.

Share my date (Share My Date)

1. Pick the day (from today up to three days ahead) and the time, and add the place and an optional note.

2. Tap Create and share link and send the link with your phone's share menu.

Your friend sees the place and time on a web page and doesn't need the app. The link expires after the date, and you can withdraw it at any time.

Date check-in

1. Add up to three trusted contacts with a Nordic mobile number under Settings > Safety.

2. Tap Start date check and choose when you will check in by: from 30 minutes to 4 hours.

3. Tap I’m okay when you're fine. Need more time? Tap Extend (30 more minutes).

If you don't check in, we text your trusted contacts after a short grace period. We don't contact the emergency services ourselves, so call your local emergency number if you are in danger.
